Legoland Denmark

Any experience?

Considering a trip in school summer holidays. Can fly direct to Ebsjerg. Considering a 2 days/ 3 nights then train to Copenhagen for a couple of nights.

Not been, but I do love Denmark. Don't neglect the rest of Jutland and Funen when you visit. As much as I love Copenhagen, there's a whole load to see closer to Billund.

My brother has been Gigi. When I asked him about it he said that he thought it was better suited to slightly older kids so you could go on more rides. And because it is more of a theme park then "here is Lego". They did have a brilliant time. They also went to Lalandia which is in the same place and is sort of a Centre Parks type place. I've read elsewhere that the Lego House in Billund is also great and much more about the joy of Lego rather than rollercoasters.

Oh and I was looking at it too, if you can go later in August the prices are better for places like Lalandia because Denmark schools are back.

There's a whole bunch of discounts available too. Some countries' Groupons (Netherlands, IIRC) seem to do annual deals, as well as the Danish supermarkets.
