Papers to be released next week. This article claims they will exonerate the fans and show the police really were to blame.

Not only that, but it claims South Yorkshire police took the stop of shovelling the blame onto fans in order to evade responsibility.

Guess who was a senior figure in South Yorkshire police at the time?

Weird time flip thing just happened. For a moment it was the 1980s again.

Knob off dickhead. Everyone knows the police caused the tragedy by openning the gates. We've known since the public inquiry. Stop posturing like a self obsessed self rightious twat.

Anyway, the answer was Bernard Hogan-Howe.

The families of 96 people crushed to death in the most horrid way have been lied to and fobbed off for years.

Attempted prosecutions of police have come to nothing. I hope they find the answers they are looking for.

I think that was why MacKenzie thought he could get away with that headline.

'These aren't just footie fans - this lot were responsible for Heysel'.

Couldn't have been easier for the police to shove the shit in the direction of someone else.

Not entirely mutually exclusive.

MacKenzie still spins the line that the one thing he knows for sure is that there were hoards of ticketless fans.

The fact that there are fans without tickets at every football match seems irrelevant.
