Promotions secretary, Lawlsie.

She has done as much as anybody to promote Corbyn with her negative R\Wing New Labour agenda.

Arjuna - 12 Sep 2015 14:11:31 (#2 of 794)

Are there any takers, or will it be a shadow of a shadow cabinet?

RosyLovelady - 12 Sep 2015 14:11:55 (#3 of 794)

You have understood the spirit of the thread, Clammy.

Serious suggestions welcome, but let's have a laugh too.

BBBilly - 12 Sep 2015 14:12:12 (#4 of 794)

I'm free on Thursday afternoons.

tasselhoff - 12 Sep 2015 14:17:13 (#5 of 794)

I will be concentrating on my constituents.

I hate your freedoms

Rendered - 12 Sep 2015 14:18:04 (#6 of 794)

Ranchorman for the (hate) Business Secretary.

Brunothecat - 12 Sep 2015 14:19:17 (#7 of 794)

Someone with a solid record of voting against snooping and data retention as Home Sec. Corbyn himself would have been ideal but there must be others.

tasselhoff - 12 Sep 2015 14:25:41 (#8 of 794)

Are there any actual other members of the PLP who aren't just careerist arseholes without an ounce of sincerity though?

RosyLovelady - 12 Sep 2015 14:42:24 (#9 of 794)

Scrutinises list ...

I'll get back to you on that.

Arjuna - 12 Sep 2015 14:45:46 (#10 of 794)

There may be some who think they are furthering their careers by chumming up to Corbyn, Andy Burnham has been doing it for months.

LegalEyesAsh - 12 Sep 2015 14:45:55 (#11 of 794)

Minister for Lesbian Dopeheads on Mopeds please, ta.

LegalEyesAsh - 12 Sep 2015 14:48:08 (#12 of 794)

Furthering his career - this is true. I feel naive now for thinking better of Burnham toward the end of his campaign. I thought he'd been making conciliatory overtones to Corbyn for altruistic reasons like the good of the party.

lapsedcat - 12 Sep 2015 14:49:47 (#13 of 794)

Is Chris Mullin still an MP? I quite like him.

JohnIlly - 12 Sep 2015 14:50:47 (#14 of 794)

If by "furthering their careers" you mean "getting into government one day" then chumming up to Corbyn will do nothing.

clammy - 12 Sep 2015 15:10:22 (#15 of 794)

Kelvin and Rebekka, to represent truth and reconciliation in the middle east. Preferably downtown anywhere.

Vendor - 12 Sep 2015 15:11:03 (#16 of 794)

Is Chris Mullin still an MP? I quite like him.

No, lapsed. He cashed in his chips at the last GE.

Tangent - 12 Sep 2015 15:29:03 (#17 of 794)

The GE before that, rather.

Of course, tangent. I think I'm still in denial about the events of May 2015!!

Rendered - 12 Sep 2015 15:46:32 (#20 of 794)

If anyone can bring peace to a fractious region, it's our millionaire former Prime Minister.
