So, I wonder what will be the hot topic for next PMQs.

A great opportunity to get the government on the back foot with some determined questioning and following up, to and show the world some opposition in action!

Lol

mememe - 20 Sep 2016 18:02:04 (#3 of 1207)

Alternatively, Glenda from Sutton Coldfield wants to know why the policemen keep getting younger.

Snarlygog - 20 Sep 2016 18:04:28 (#4 of 1207)

Will Cameron's Mum still be offering advice on matters sartorial?

Arjuna - 20 Sep 2016 18:06:06 (#5 of 1207)

I am surprised Sky News haven't signed her up - teamed up with Kay Burley

Snarlygog - 20 Sep 2016 18:10:07 (#6 of 1207)

It would have been priceless if Jeremy had replied to David "my mum told me not to fuck the Sunday Lunch"

Brunothecat - 20 Sep 2016 18:11:50 (#7 of 1207)

heh

GreenFuture - 20 Sep 2016 18:14:43 (#8 of 1207)

Blth May and corbyn need to brush up their acts.

Arjuna - 20 Sep 2016 18:21:56 (#9 of 1207)

There were plenty of 'your mum' options for a comeback but not sure if its Jezza's style.

Snarlygog - 20 Sep 2016 18:27:13 (#10 of 1207)

He could do the "leader is not for Quitting" retorts to Cameron.

Tangent - 20 Sep 2016 20:40:56 (#11 of 1207)

I think it will be helpful if this thread is used to discuss daily business in Parliament, including committees. I think I might experiment with a short digest when Parliament reconvenes, although I don't promise to keep it up.

Brunothecat - 20 Sep 2016 20:45:55 (#12 of 1207)

Best stock up on milk of magnesia, the buggers give me guts ache.

Tangent - 20 Sep 2016 20:47:56 (#13 of 1207)

I have not had milk of magnesia since I was two, but I can still taste it. It was the first thing I really loathed.

JohnIlly - 20 Sep 2016 20:48:44 (#14 of 1207)

I prefer milk of amnesia.

Brunothecat - 20 Sep 2016 20:49:44 (#15 of 1207)

Ah, your doc never gave you that stuff they used to call "The Emulsion" then? It too was white, but mamaged to combine oiliness with a foul taste. The political comparisons with some MPs hit one in the fizzog.

postie - 20 Sep 2016 20:56:55 (#16 of 1207)

if it had been green you'd have loved it?

mememe - 20 Sep 2016 20:58:14 (#17 of 1207)

Never change Tangent, you beautiful nerd.

Snarlygog - 20 Sep 2016 21:11:00 (#18 of 1207)

I think it's time for some full blooded retorts to the Tories. As Recce Mogg where is his Teddy, ask Cameron whose pony is he borrowing, Barack Boris if the Mary Rose is going to be sailing to Canada with artisan cheese. Ask Carswell if he attended a science lecture at King's?

mememe - 20 Sep 2016 21:11:47 (#19 of 1207)

Yeah, that's what we need. More name calling.

Brunothecat - 20 Sep 2016 21:12:37 (#20 of 1207)

if it had been green you'd have loved it?

Maybe if they has flavoured it with Chartreuse, but I mentioned the white as I suspect milk of magnesia was a major ingredient.
