Too late. The genie is out of the bottle now.

I have just heard this. No doubt lawyers are already leafing through the brochures of premium German cars.

HouseOfLametta - 22 Sep 2017 11:12:54 (#3 of 331)

That is hilarious.

It makes no never mind to me. I don't live in London and when I visit I either get buses or walk everywhere. Never taken an Uber cab in my life. And I love black cabs which I'll use when I can afford. There's no glamour in an Uber.

WillodeanKnuth - 22 Sep 2017 11:14:55 (#5 of 331)

Well I'm happy you contributed, then.

there is glamour in Uglamourber.

"which I'll use when I can afford."

Isn't that the point of Uber?

Lawlsie - 22 Sep 2017 11:16:00 (#8 of 331)

Well I'm happy you contributed, then.

Welcome! Have a good Friday mate.

A black cab is glamorous?

Lawlsie - 22 Sep 2017 11:16:51 (#11 of 331)

An Uber definitely isn't.

Lawlsie - 22 Sep 2017 11:16:58 (#12 of 331)

Nor is flying Ryan Air

You get what you pay for

thePiMan - 22 Sep 2017 11:18:38 (#14 of 331)

I've not used Uber in London but I've had nothing but a very good experience in the USA and Liverpool from the service

Sabacious - 22 Sep 2017 11:18:44 (#15 of 331)

A to B as quickly and cheaply as possible.

HouseOfLametta - 22 Sep 2017 11:19:03 (#16 of 331)

A black cab is a bit glamorous. Like a checker in New York or a tuk tuk in Swansea Saigon.

Lawlsie - 22 Sep 2017 11:19:05 (#17 of 331)

A to B as quickly and cheaply as possible.

When something is cheap, it's cheap for a reason.

xDiggy - 22 Sep 2017 11:19:12 (#18 of 331)

WHHHATTT?

FFS. Uber may be twats, but they have improved my life. Back to 2 hours home from Heathrow by public transport or rattling queasily home on a kebab-filled night bus then. Happy days.

Sabacious - 22 Sep 2017 11:19:38 (#19 of 331)

I don't necessarily RyanAir get you from A to B quicker or cheaper than another airline necessarily, but an Uber is more often than not a lot quicker than a black cab.

Lawlsie - 22 Sep 2017 11:19:52 (#20 of 331)

You can afford a proper cab Diggy.
