#FAKENEWS

Well, I'm sure that many of the attendees would claim that. Apparently, large numbers of people were chanting,

"Let him go!" to the security guards.

solomongursky - 12 Feb 2019 11:42:20 (#3 of 20)

large numbers of people were chanting

10,000, Trump reckons. The arena holds 6,500.

SinnerBoy - 12 Feb 2019 11:43:15 (#4 of 20)

And he was taking the piss out of a Democrat's rally, which was smaller. Fragile ego boy!

JacobReesBogg - 12 Feb 2019 11:55:31 (#5 of 20)

Did all the people in Trumpton come to see him? Trumpton got Trumped on.

The Mayor, Mr. Troop the Town Clerk, their chauffeur, Philby. Mr. Clamp the greengrocer, Mr. Platt the clockmaker, Mr. Munnings the printer and Miss Lovelace (with her three dogs Mitzi, Daphne and Lulu) the milliner. Mrs. Cobbett, the florist. Not to overlook Windy Miller and Captain Flack, Pugh,Pugh, Barney McGrew , Cuthbert , Dibble and Grub.

I reckon it was the Trumpton Fire Brigade that duffed that BBC reporter up.

Make Trumpton great again!

Was Hugh Grant there? Possibly Hugh shot Roger Rabbit.

JacobReesBogg - 12 Feb 2019 11:59:19 (#7 of 20)

Hugh Grant wasn't in Trumpton was he?

virgil5 - 12 Feb 2019 12:00:10 (#8 of 20)

Hard to say. Everyone was wearing masks, really.

JacobReesBogg - 12 Feb 2019 12:03:24 (#9 of 20)

He might have appeared in Camberwick Green as Mr Carraway the fishmonger, I think he wore a mask during the famous orgy episode.

Never mind, the BBC can just say it’s “populism” - the favoured disinfo euphemism for fascism, which they scarcely understand and don’t much mind. Perhaps they’ll line up the abusers to be in the Question Time audience.

GreenFuture - 12 Feb 2019 12:42:41 (#11 of 20)

Those rallies are dollar store Nurembergs anyway. The BBC love them. So visceral.

lapsedcat - 12 Feb 2019 12:43:05 (#12 of 20)

Lots of Nazi imagery in your posts GF.

GreenFuture - 12 Feb 2019 12:46:46 (#13 of 20)

Yep. Why would people draw connection between Trump and the far right? Oh, because the far right do.

“Hail Trump. Hail our people” - Richard Spencer”

Too many other examples to cite.

GreenFuture - 12 Feb 2019 12:47:17 (#14 of 20)

Separate and a bit tangential but this is superb.

HouseOfLametta - 12 Feb 2019 12:47:18 (#15 of 20)

I’m sure there were some very good people on both sides.

moto748 - 12 Feb 2019 14:03:23 (#16 of 20)

Lots of Nazi imagery in your posts GF.

Why do you think that is, lapsed? Are you perplexed?

JacobReesBogg - 12 Feb 2019 14:05:02 (#17 of 20)

I think that Captain Flack in Trumpton was a fascist martinet. Probably started out in the Freikorps.

virgil5 - 12 Feb 2019 14:56:48 (#18 of 20)

They exposed their genitals a lot evidently, but most of it didn't get by the censors.

AlanII - 12 Feb 2019 15:01:47 (#19 of 20)

"Oh come on, McGrew, put it away now."

"Cuthbert started it sir."

"Well that's a Public School education for you."

GreenFuture - 12 Feb 2019 22:15:40 (#20 of 20)
