Farage banned from his local pub.

Legged it after a car crash without asking if the occupants of the other vehicle were injured. The driver of the other vehicle was in fact the landlord of Farage's local pub.

Mark of the so-called man.

We did this yesterday in the Kipper thread.

TrouserFreak - 12 May 2019 18:00:17 (#2 of 178)

AOL.co.uk? Good for them.

Tadagee - 12 May 2019 18:05:20 (#3 of 178)

I know that pub. About three miles from here.

indlovubill - 12 May 2019 18:08:21 (#4 of 178)

Farage is also banned from Kitty O'Sheas in Brussels opposite the EU Commission building.

dreams99 - 12 May 2019 18:09:02 (#5 of 178)

Where are you now, Tada? My route from here to my parents goes through Titsey and Limpsfield, have known it well for 30+ years.

Tadagee - 12 May 2019 18:49:45 (#6 of 178)

Oxted. Been here 15 years. So you drive right past it.

guigal - 12 May 2019 18:50:45 (#7 of 178)

I had a drink in the George and Dragon in the hope of being in the aura of the Great Man, but it was the completely different George and Dragon in Downe village. Just where is Nigel's local boozer?

FleurDuMal - 12 May 2019 18:52:43 (#8 of 178)

If I owned his local pub I would have banned him years ago.

TommyDGNR8 - 12 May 2019 18:55:19 (#9 of 178)

I'll bet he never goes near it unless there's a camera crew in town.

mememe - 12 May 2019 18:58:21 (#10 of 178)

The George and Dragon in Downe is a nice pub.

FleurDuMal - 12 May 2019 19:02:58 (#11 of 178)

Even nicer now Farage is banned from it.

guigal - 12 May 2019 19:03:59 (#12 of 178)

I'll bet he never goes near it unless there's a camera crew in town.

The George and Dragon in Downe village is a cosy olde worlde pub with, when I dropped in, a bevy of immigrant lasses behind the bar.

mememe - 12 May 2019 19:44:17 (#13 of 178)

Different pub though. I know Downe because there’s a scout camp near there.

What Nigel really enjoys is a magnum of best bubbly at the Ritz.

HouseOfLametta - 12 May 2019 19:56:21 (#15 of 178)

Nice jag that was.

FleurDuMal - 12 May 2019 20:01:08 (#16 of 178)

It was. I hope the oily little shit pays for it to be repaired.

guigal - 12 May 2019 20:05:44 (#17 of 178)

In Nigel's victory bash at the Ritz, the guests were drinking Lord Ashcroft's sparkling wine. English 'champagne', judging by a glass or two I've had, is just fine. Not the best, though. That would be Bollinger Grande Année 2008, plausibly.

SinnerBoy - 12 May 2019 20:30:31 (#18 of 178)

Titsey and Limpsfield

Puerile snigger....

To be fair, he wasn't driving and his chauffeur stopped to check and exchange details.

solomongursky - 12 May 2019 20:33:10 (#19 of 178)

He stepped over dazed babies and fled, the tosser.

bossab2 - 12 May 2019 20:33:32 (#20 of 178)

The George and Dragon in question is in Westerham.

In the winter it has a roaring wood fire and it used to have a terse message by the fire pointing out that the canopy over the fire ( being metal) was hot when the fire was alight.
