He knows best and we should listen to what he says!

Surely you've come across the likes of Cummings HerrWalrus, we all have at some point in our lives.

widenation - 06 Sep 2019 14:09:52 (#2 of 272)

He owns a farm which has benefited massively from EU money I understand.

thisonehasalittlehat - 06 Sep 2019 14:11:23 (#3 of 272)

It's his parents (?) farm co-owned by their children (inheritance tax thing I bet). Doubt he does much actual farming himself.

xDiggy - 06 Sep 2019 14:12:11 (#4 of 272)

He's a cunt. End of thread.

thisonehasalittlehat - 06 Sep 2019 14:12:55 (#5 of 272)

Maybe that's it though. Maybe he's like some weird toby young type guy who feels humiliated by the fact his parents have depended on EU subsidies his whole life and compelled to figuratively murder his father by killing europe?

browserbutton - 06 Sep 2019 14:13:15 (#6 of 272)

His wife has a hugely rich daddy, with a castle.

He would like to SMASH UP the castle, probably.

GrrrIbdis - 06 Sep 2019 14:14:03 (#7 of 272)

Isn't he rather like Rees Mogg and a number of others in politics - a neglected needy child who didn't get any help to deal with the bullies?

HerrWalrus - 06 Sep 2019 14:14:06 (#8 of 272)

Why do people refer to him as a genius?

solomongursky - 06 Sep 2019 14:14:36 (#9 of 272)

Rees Mogg's missus has a stately pile too.

browserbutton - 06 Sep 2019 14:15:30 (#10 of 272)

Rude. We don't wish to know about Madame Le Chair's hind quarters.

thisonehasalittlehat - 06 Sep 2019 14:16:03 (#11 of 272)

Why do people refer to him as a genius?

There's some weird 250 page education manifesto document online you can google. It's rammed with systems theory and theoretical physics and stuff. It's completely mad. But it might persuade your average PPE graduate.

some weird 250 page education manifesto document

he gets asked to think the unfathomable?

(originally what T Blair said about F Field)

popstar7 - 06 Sep 2019 14:19:43 (#14 of 272)

Oedipus Brex.

GrrrIbdis - 06 Sep 2019 14:21:55 (#15 of 272)

Whatever he's like, he's not a politician and he's not a member of the Tory Party, he's an employee that they are using as a scapegoat to protect the real decision makers. Johnson would just love us all to focus our ire on Cummings, while he capers and cavorts to the cliff edge....

thisonehasalittlehat - 06 Sep 2019 14:22:28 (#16 of 272)

Or vice versa.

frantastic - 06 Sep 2019 14:24:01 (#17 of 272)

Cliff Edge is innocent!

Dom's blog is famous for its cod-academic weeblings:

https://dominiccummings.com

'Complexity, ‘fog and moonlight’, prediction, and politics II: controlled skids and immune systems (September 2014). Why is the world so hard to predict? Nonlinearity and Bismarck.'

guigal - 06 Sep 2019 14:25:00 (#19 of 272)

HerrWalrus - 06 Sep 2019 14:14:06 ( #8 of 14) Why do people refer to him as a genius?

We don't. Who does? He's a brilliant propagandist who puts his intellectual abilities into self-aggrandisement and causing chaos.

Moschops - 06 Sep 2019 14:29:36 (#20 of 272)

To be fair to the massive cunt, he managed to deliver a referendum win which few people thought possible
