I saw a few clips of him with his cousin Emilia on Celeb Gogglebox. He came across as a narcissistic prick on that, with poor Emilia (the genuinely successful actor) fulfilling the role of ego-stroker.

When the QT thing happened, I felt a twinge of sympathy for him, thinking that he's just a bit of a naive guy from a sheltered background. But he's really doubling down on the whole PC gorn mad, racism massively-exagerrated, they're trying to destroy British values line.

SinnerBoy - 11 Aug 2020 14:50:54 (#2 of 557)

He didn't know that there were Indians, Africans and Carribbean soldiers, who fought the Germans, in WWI.

When informed, he wasn't abashed, he just shrugged it off with a, "Who fuckin knew?"

Well, millions of people, who aren't aggressively and proudly ignorant.

He's the sort of person who drives like a cunt in Fulham.

He's trying to fill the void left on Twitter by Katie Hopkins ban for likes and retweets.

I got banned for calling him a cunt.

SinnerBoy - 11 Aug 2020 14:58:31 (#5 of 557)

Why? He's a Gritpype of the first water.

Snarlygog - 11 Aug 2020 15:00:17 (#6 of 557)

Twitter gets a bit vapoury when you correctly identify the Cunts for some reason.

LemonGrass - 11 Aug 2020 15:03:47 (#7 of 557)

True.

solomongursky - 11 Aug 2020 15:05:34 (#8 of 557)

See you next Tuesday is an automatic Twitter shit can.

ReverendBlueJeans - 11 Aug 2020 15:07:02 (#9 of 557)

Tragedy is that Hathaway is a great and very likeable character. He did a good job there.

Still, it's faint praise when you can only like someone when they are being someone else.

Snarlygog - 11 Aug 2020 15:07:09 (#10 of 557)

Cnut is a perfectly acceptable substitute though.

carterbrandon - 11 Aug 2020 15:10:41 (#11 of 557)

He's going to have to up his Question Time game if he wants to compete with the LOTR dwarf luvvie. He made Lozza look like Greta T.

Tenesmus - 11 Aug 2020 15:14:32 (#12 of 557)

solomongursky - 11 Aug 2020 15:15:27 (#13 of 557)

Matthew Rhys? Or some other bloke with Rhys in his name...

The guy who's also in the Indiana Jones fillums.

ReverendBlueJeans - 11 Aug 2020 15:15:49 (#15 of 557)

There was me believing that Freddie Fox is the most irksome of that particular clan.

#2 A couple of years ago there was an excellent series of exhibitions about the role of BAME soldiers and auxilliaries in the WW1 at the Imperial War Museum. He should have gone.

moto748 - 11 Aug 2020 15:28:42 (#19 of 557)
