Orcas are crustaceans mate.

bossab2 - 13 Sep 2020 08:25:17 (#2 of 38)

Tell the Guardian

bailliegillies - 13 Sep 2020 09:00:06 (#3 of 38)

Maybe they're fed up with us pissing in their seas.

frantastic - 13 Sep 2020 09:24:42 (#4 of 38)

Perhaps the orcas panicked when they sent down four skin divers.

bailliegillies - 13 Sep 2020 09:27:12 (#5 of 38)

They prefer a bit more meat on them.

SinnerBoy - 13 Sep 2020 09:30:13 (#6 of 38)

I should think that one or more of them has been hit by a vessel and they're taking pre- emptive defensive action.

bossab2 - 13 Sep 2020 09:32:03 (#7 of 38)

KILL ALL SHIPS !!

Nonsense. They're the same family as weasels and ferrets. Orca are giant sea badgers.

solomongursky - 13 Sep 2020 09:43:40 (#9 of 38)

They're black and white so it makes sense.

DogBreath - 13 Sep 2020 09:56:41 (#10 of 38)

There was a seagull in Southampton that couldn't fly for a week. It is ok now but perhaps the Guardian should run a story on it.

frantastic - 13 Sep 2020 14:43:51 (#11 of 38)

But they have ladies' fingers also. The ocras that is.

browserbutton - 13 Sep 2020 14:46:35 (#12 of 38)

Orca sounds a bit too huggy for a killer whale. And grampus makes them sound too old.

bailliegillies - 13 Sep 2020 14:52:37 (#13 of 38)

Just call the Orcs then.

Tagyourit - 13 Sep 2020 14:53:06 (#14 of 38)

It's often said that there are no reports of dolphins and orcas attacking people in the wild. That's becuase they're clever fuckers and know not to leave any witnesses. They're not above framing innocent sharks either. Especially bottlenosed dolphins, never trust an animal that's always smiling....

bossab2 - 13 Sep 2020 15:05:00 (#15 of 38)

The Joker of the animal kingdom

I distinctly remember some hippy being beaten up by delinquent dolphins. She'd gone on a 'swim with dolphins' trip for a spiritual experience and they beat the crap out of her for a laugh. They would even let her think she'd got away, then crack her another rib.

bossab2 - 13 Sep 2020 15:39:20 (#18 of 38)

There was some naturalist on the radio a week or two back saying that dolphins were nasty bastards.

Zugunruhe1 - 13 Sep 2020 16:14:56 (#19 of 38)

Well I wouldn't take too much notice of a 'naturalist' banging on about dolphins being nasty bastards. Sounds more like someone doing a bit of Disneyesque anthropomorphising.

bossab2 - 13 Sep 2020 17:46:45 (#20 of 38)

No, it was a feature on facial expressions.
