Horror as starving RATS are attacking family pets for FOOD...because of COVID

Starving RATS have started attacking PETS after struggling to find enough food outside restaurants due to lockdown closures. Terrified families have been warned to make sure their pets are being kept safe. The coronavirus pandemic closed thousands of food outlets across UK for over three months this year, depriving rats who would normally feed on their bins of an otherwise reliable source of food.

London’s failing mayor Sadiq Khan said, “These monster rats have begun on tortoises and will soon move to rabbits, cats and even dogs. Please ensure you wear a face mask at all times.”

They fought the dogs, and killed the cats,

And bit the babies in the cradles,

And eat the cheeses out of the vats,

And licked the soup from the cooks' own ladles,

Monster rats make mighty fine eating.

My dad had tortoises, when he was young. One winter, rats got into the shed and chewed some of their legs off. He had to finish the poor buggers off, it was horrible.
