Woman calls off her marriage to a GHOST after he turned to partying on holiday in Thailand

A woman has called off her wedding to a GHOST after he fell into a bad crowd of other spirits and started taking DRINK and DRUGS whilst they were holidaying together. Amethyst Realm lifted the lid on her heartbreak on morning television, explaining that she called things off with Ray and has used SAGE to keep him away.

‘We’ve called the wedding off,’ Amethyst said. ‘It was going really well until we went on holiday and he completely changed. He just started becoming really inconsiderate, he’d disappear for long periods of time, when he did come back, he’d bring other spirits to the house and they’d just stay around for days.’

and has used SAGE to keep him away

What, she told him she was in Tier 3 and wouldn't be able to meet him indoors?

Can ghosts get hangovers? Or can they drink as much as they want to without suffering the next day?

wickeltisch - 15 Oct 2020 12:58:04 (#3 of 48)

And do ghosts have to pay in pubs or can they just vanish in thin air?

FGBFGB - 15 Oct 2020 13:01:05 (#4 of 48)

I assume they would be using contactless.

HouseOfLametta - 15 Oct 2020 13:02:27 (#5 of 48)

They stick to spirits.

wickeltisch - 15 Oct 2020 13:03:51 (#6 of 48)

Perhaps Amethyst could ask the ghost next time she sees him. Or is he ghosting her now?

solomongursky - 15 Oct 2020 13:04:38 (#7 of 48)

That story's bollocks, Thailand isn't letting anyone in unless they quarantine.

FGBFGB - 15 Oct 2020 13:04:50 (#8 of 48)

Perhaps she objected to him sending her photographs of his ghoulies.

What if the ghost can make himself invisible? How would they know of his arrival?

wickeltisch - 15 Oct 2020 13:09:57 (#10 of 48)

Besides Thailand lets the king in each time he comes in from his main home in Germany, he does not have to quarantine.

Splendid VOR thread. Making fun of the supernatural is ... fun

TheVoiceOfReason - 15 Oct 2020 13:15:49 (#12 of 48)

Have YOU ever got jiggy with someone from the Other Side, guiggers?

solomongursky - 15 Oct 2020 13:16:29 (#13 of 48)

Thailand insists that you have health insurance.

guigal - 15 Oct 2020 13:19:31 (#14 of 48)

someone from the Other Side,

Someone from the other side of the bed, yes. Great demonstration of the power of capital letters. Call it a god and nobody bothers. Call it God and it's got 2.4 billion worshippers.

solomongursky - 15 Oct 2020 13:21:25 (#15 of 48)

Good point.

I bet she wasn't named Amethyst Realm by her parents.

Though I suppose Rumble Honey Smith & Gravity Bree were, relatively recently. So maybe she was and it was just a case of excellent nominative determinism!

has used SAGE to keep him away

I've clicked on the link now and see the original text says "keep at bay".

Now I think TVoR's threads might be a bit inaccurate.

And now I know why ghosts avoid me, there's a sage bush growing near the door.

As Marty Hopkirk had to concentrate really hard to affect anything in the physical realm, I'm interested in how he might have done some Charlie. Though he could do that blowing thing that made a little gust of wind.

I didn't have thyme for that

She's better off out of it. High risk of phantom pregnancy.
