EHRC Equalities watchdog. Really?

“Working-class girls have been deprived of jobs that they love such as Page 3 girls and [Formula One] grid girls because other women disapprove of them. What happened to ‘my body, my choice’?” (Jessica Butcher)

Tory government appointments to The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) have raised questions about it being fit for purpose. David Goodhart, who has written enthusiastically in support of Brexit and Priti Patel's 'hostile environment' for one. Now step forward Jessica Butcher. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/new-equalities-commissioner-attacked-modern-feminism-and-numbermetoo/ar-BB1bfihn

This is a body which should not be subject to political interference.

The EHRC is institutionally sexist and racist and is not fit for purpose.

Middle class women who go to Oxford, study Ancient History, burn through $120 million in a failed digital startup that put ads on your phone camera , might be looking for more options.

Preferably a nice Quango, rather than getting their kit off from lack of options.

I was thinking of the article Goodhart wrote for the Daily Mail where he praises the Priti Patel points-based immigration system. It shows an odd idea of equality for an Equality Commissioner.

The great advantage that he sees is that we can bring in European workers as required. Which implies being able to send the back when not required. A shocking lack of concern for individuals. I suppose he thinks equality doesn't apply to foreigners.
