There's some schadenfreude in the word 'shock' in that guardian leader but it's not really very funny. Export sales at my workplace have plummeted, vanishingly so.
Presumably, the Scottish fishing vessels still have all the export red tape when they land their catch in Denmark rather than their home ports, just that the timescale is reduced for a perishable product. And, I imagine, the market, processing and warehousing now passes to Danish firms.

Apart from anything else, it's not true; it's no shock to anybody. Well, except for those who wilfully misinformed themselves, of course.
