Killer SHARKS are moving ever closer towards UK waters as sea temperatures rise owing to climate change, according to shock new research out today. Experts now anticipate that British beaches could be a primary target for the flesh-eating killing machines. “This will turn our town’s beaches into something like a scene from Jaws,” said a visibly flustered Mayor of Bournemouth after hearing the news.

My shark tracker says they’re not coming over here yet. Mostly off the East Coasts of the US and Australia.

There are no species of shark which eat humans intentionally. Shark attacks are extremely rare and happen when a shark mistakes a human for a tasty fish or seal or whatever.
#2 - Like a trail of blood in the water, I can't resist it.
Will Nigel Farage be out on the waters this summer, protecting Blighty's precious island exclusivity?
It would be awful if he were to be ripped to pieces by a crazy killer shark, Jaws-stylee. On camera.
#4 what species is that tracking? My understanding was the main man eaters -Great Whites (white pointers) and Tigers were concentrated on Australia's west not east coast? They were when I visited the day after a surfer was killed in Perth by one.
There were lots of basking sharks off the west coast here last summer, I would have loved to have seen them. Non person-eating sharks, very big.
Killer sharks, do-dooo do-do do-doooo.
That’s not what my dad said — but they did have to shoot it and eat it raw.
Never tried it sushi style but a shark steak fries up well.
TVoR loses ten points for not mentioning the Sharknado threat
Shark attacks are extremely rare
But increasing.

I for one, welcome our new toothy overlords.
#11 It tracks all sorts of shark, and turtles. Albeit the ones that have been tagged.
It’s quite good fun actually - I signed up when I was helping one of my nieces write a report on sharks for her homework.
It’s called OCEARCH if you’re interested.
I suspect the lack of shark action on Australia’s West Coast may be down to the lack of tagging on man-eating sharks.
I mean, I wouldn’t!
A whole lifetime in the UK will soon be as dangerous as 10 minutes in Australia.
I've eaten shark. It was minging.
Did it taste of urine?
Thanks Cordelia that looks fascinating and yeah I agree about tagging the man eaters.
I've eaten shark I'm ashamed to admit (when I was too young to know better) and it was delicious. Like Skate, as you'd imagine.
