Our next king's anti enlightenment views - up or down with that sort of thing?
A new book about them:

The author of this book was professor of (I think) alternative and complementary medicine at Exeter uni. He’s a noted sceptic and a all round good bloke.
Prince Charles is an even more stable genius than Donald Trump.

This is always worth recycling

He wants us to return to a pre-Renaissance world and find the shared "sacred geometry" of the vagina in the designs of disparate ancient buildings.
Choice.
I'm sympathetic to his views on architecture and environment. Like many, he should up his game in personal behaviour. I certainly wish he could have had more respect for his first wife and second daughter in law
I forget if he was suspected of those as awful comments about an an expected royal sprogness.
Of course, if he is seen to treat women proper and not be a racist, his natural support in places like the telegraph and express will damn him for ever as commie woke
Oddly enough though, I suspect he'd be a very good king.
"our nation turns it's lonely eyes to you,woo woo woo" ...
I think the passing of Brenda will be a good time to wind it up. Once she is gone I shall simply regard Charles as as a twat with a face like a kicked bloodhound.
I'm sympathetic to his views on architecture and environment.
I'm not. The green rhetoric is just bait-and-switch for what he really likes, which is feudalism and the architecture of know-your-place.
Remember when he was enthusing about how the inhabitants of Seaside were only allowed a narrow choice of colours for their houses, and how much he admired the opposite-of-Portmeirion uniformity of it? That would be the Seaside where they filmed The Truman Show. You know, the filmic world where one bloke got to run the little life of his subject like a god.

Makes me think of this from Father Ted

"Dismantler of Preposterous Twaddle"
Great job title. Must get some cards printed-up.
You have to hand it to our 18th Century forebears, when they plucked a minor German prince from obscurity to father a line of incurious dullards to basically stay out of the way for a few centuries, they hit the jackpot.
I think the passing of Brenda will be a good time to wind it up.
Yes but we'd probably wind up with revolting situation of having a President Blair.
The green rhetoric is just bait-and-switch for what he really likes, which is feudalism and the architecture of know-your-place.
If you stand to inherit large parts of the earth it does make sense to look after it.
At times this book gets very bizarre. Gnostic and alchemical texts such as the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Emerald Tablet of Hermes are quoted. The future head of the Church of England puts forward ideas, linking Osiris and Jesus for example, that would once have verged on heresy. Before we came over so stupidly rationalist three centuries ago, such writings could have had him burned at the stake

Charles is an environmentalist my arse. Did you not see him having his special gold hat driven to parliament in its own special car followed by a fleet of other cars the other day?
And then there is this piece of twattery:

He's an environmentalist in the sense of conserving the game parks rather than planet. Very much a county lord's idea of environmental protection. Wibble wibble wibble architecture.
