Democrats need to embrace a new vision. That means dumping the failed leaders of the past

I didn't realize she had started bullshitting already. Great. CHELSEA 2016!!!!

I am with the Princess.

What does the Dem Party even stand for? I couldn't tell with Hillary.

With Sanders I could tell, I didn't agree with his positions, but at least it stood for something distinct, although misguided IMHO.

The Dem Party is largely about identity politics and convincing certain groups they are oppressed.

Peacock - 27 Feb 2017 06:36:07 (#6 of 3019)

The Democrats aren't even honest to themselves about why they let an arsehole like Trump in as president.

Geribaldi - 27 Feb 2017 06:56:07 (#7 of 3019)

They didn't "let" Trump be President, Trump won the presidency but not the popular vote.

Peacock - 27 Feb 2017 06:58:40 (#8 of 3019)

Obama and Clinton are fully to blame for letting in this creep

Geribaldi - 27 Feb 2017 07:05:24 (#9 of 3019)

That's one perspective.

But look at the bright side Peacock, they gave someone for you to hate. Surely there is some value in that.

AdrianNTierney - 27 Feb 2017 16:36:03 (#10 of 3019)

Trump's in office for one month plus a week. So it's a little early to decide that Trump heralds the apocalypse.

Nevertheless, to date that seems the only 'issue' upon which Democrats agree. And, needless to say, it's not really a winning position.

Which rather neatly underlines the problems that Democrats have manufactured for themselves.

HouseOfLametta - 27 Feb 2017 16:39:34 (#11 of 3019)

Yes. It's going really well.

1OffManMental - 27 Feb 2017 16:40:30 (#12 of 3019)

Obama and Clinton are fully to blame for letting in this creep

No

AdrianNTierney - 27 Feb 2017 16:41:04 (#13 of 3019)

Expecting miracles of some sort, House?

Do you believe that The Donald walks on water, too?

AdrianNTierney - 27 Feb 2017 16:42:32 (#14 of 3019)

Obama and Clinton are fully to blame for letting in this creep

Indeed they are! A lack of ficus on the general good, together with a laser-like focus on identity politics, spelled the doom of the Democrats at both national and state levels.

Not too difficult to comprehend, is it?

HouseOfLametta - 27 Feb 2017 16:43:24 (#15 of 3019)

He can't even walk down stairs.

<<Do you believe that The Donald walks on water, too?>>

I certainly can't say. I haven't seen that Moscow video.

Donald Trump, the most american thing since apple pie, the carnival barker in chief, is a russian stooge.

It's such an amazing parody of itself.
